  7. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  8.  
  9. To run The Greatest Paper Airplanes, you will need:
  10.  
  11.     * Windows 3.1 or higher
  12.     * MS-DOS 3.1 or higher
  13.     * 2MB RAM (4MB recommended)
  14.     * 2MB Free disk space
  15.     * Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
  16.  
  17. INSTALLATION
  18.  
  19. To install the shareware version of The Greatest Paper Airplanes, simply
  20. follow the instuctions given below:
  21.  
  22. Step #1. Make a directory on your hard drive named GPA.  You may
  23.          name the directory anything you like, but we'll refer to
  24.          the installation directory as GPA later in this text.
  25.          You may use the Windows File Manager option File/Create
  26.          Directory... to do this -or- use the DOS command:
  27.  
  28.                 C:\>md gpa
  29.  
  30. Step #2. Log to the new directory you just created using the Windows
  31.          File Manager -or- use the DOS command:
  32.  
  33.                 C:\>cd \gpa
  34.  
  35. Step #3. Copy the file named GPA.ZIP from the diskette over to
  36.          your hard drive and put it into the directory you created
  37.          in Step #1 above.  Again, you may use the Windows File
  38.          Manager -or- the DOS command:
  39.  
  40.                 C:\>copy a:\gpa.zip c:\gpa
  41.  
  42. Step #4. Extract the files from GPA.ZIP.  The GPA.ZIP file is a PKZip
  43.          version 1.1 type zip file, simply run the PKUNZIP program in
  44.          order to extract the files.  Use the DOS command:
  45.  
  46.                 C:\GPA>pkunzip gpa.zip
  47.  
  48. Step #5. Once the files have been extracted from GPA.ZIP, you may delete
  49.          the GPA.ZIP file from your hard drive.  Use the Windows File
  50.          Manager -or- the DOS command:
  51.  
  52.                 C:\GPA>del gpa.zip
  53.  
  54. Step #6. Configure The Greatest Paper Airplanes for use with Windows
  55.          using the instructions given below.
  56.  
  57. CONFIGURATION
  58.  
  59. To configure The Greatest Paper Airplanes, simply follow the
  60. instructions given below:
  61.  
  62. Setp #1. Run Windows if it is not already running, or if you are in
  63.          a DOS window under Windows already, simply return to the
  64.          Program Manager.
  65.  
  66. Step #2. From the Windows Program Manager or File Manager, pulldown
  67.          the File menu option and select the Run... option.  Run the
  68.          program named:
  69.  
  70.                 GROUPAIR.EXE
  71.  
  72.          which may be found in the directory you created for the
  73.          program earlier.  This program builds a Program Manager
  74.          group for The Greatest Paper Airplanes and puts icons into
  75.          it.  If using the File Manager, you may also simply double-
  76.          click on GROUPAIR.EXE to run the program.

  79. RUNNING THE PROGRAM
  80.  
  81. There are several icons in The Greatest Paper Airplanes group,
  82. they are:

  84. Greatest Paper Airplanes
  85.   Runs the program.
  86.  
  87. On-Line Help
  88.   Runs the Windows help system for The Greatest Paper Airplanes.
  89.   This same help may be found within the program too.

  91. Ordering Information
  92.   Gives you information on ordering The Greatest Paper Airplanes.
  93.   Ordering is simple, just call our 1-800 number and have a major
  94.   credit card ready!

  96. Release Notes
  97.   Lets you view release notes and other late breaking news about
  98.   The Greatest Paper Airplanes.
  99.  
  100. License & Warranty
  101.   Lets you view the software license and warranty information.

  103. Remove GPA
  104.   Removes The Greatest Paper Airplanes from your system.  This
  105.   program will delete the program files, clean up your WIN.INI
  106.   file, and delete the Program Manager group and icons for The
  107.   Greatest Paper Airplanes.  Note, after this program has been
  108.   run, you must manually delete the GPA directory and a file
  109.   named REMOVAIR.EXE which resides in the GPA directory.  Sorry
  110.   for the inconvenience, but at least we did 99% of the work
  111.   for you...
